From the left-hand menu under Customers (CRM icon), you can open the customer register, which contains all of the company’s customers.
- Use the orange New client button to enter a new customer (it’s a good idea to first check that the customer doesn’t already exist in the register).
- You can search for customers e.g. by name or classification.
- Use filters to narrow down which customers are shown in the list. You can filter customers by e.g. customer type or creation date. If filters are active, you’ll see a number here indicating how many filters are currently in use.
Note: Filters remain active even if you navigate elsewhere in the system (e.g. to listings). If you can’t find a customer you created earlier, first check that you don’t have any filters enabled. - Choose whether you want to see only your own customers or all customers in the company.
- By clicking a customer row (e.g. on the name), the customer card opens, where you can use CRM features, among other things.
- On the far right of the customer row, behind the three-dot menu, you’ll find the option to delete the customer. Deleting a customer requires that there are no associated actions/records that must be retained under statutory customer data retention requirements.
Customer’s contact person
All customers also have a designated Contact person in the real estate brokerage agency, which by default is the same person who created the customer in the register. A customer can also have multiple contact persons if these have been added manually in the customer details, or if the customer has, for example, been in touch as a lead with multiple agents.
If you want to view customer details where you are not listed as the contact person, Linear will display a warning. All views of customer details are logged.
