Documents linked to the listing can be sent for signing from the Documents tab.
There can be multiple documents and signatories for signing. The documents to be signed should be found archived in the Manage documents section, and the signatories must be found from the customer register. Naturally, the customer must have an email address filled in, as well as the possibility for strong authentication through a Finnish bank for signing.
On the Documents tab, select "Send documents for electronic signature".
If the customer is not yet in the customer register, they can be added at this stage. Additionally, agents can be marked as signatories. Select the document(s) to be signed from the dropdown menu and, if desired, add a friendly cover message that will appear to the customer in the email signature invitation.
Signatories will receive an invitation to sign and a link to sign in their email.
The order of signatures does not matter. The Signicat signature link is valid for a month and its duration cannot currently be changed.
Agents can follow the progress of the signatures by clicking on the icon (paper and pen) next to the document to be signed in the Manage documents section. The fraction icon indicates how many have already signed the document.
If a signatory has lost the invitation link or for some reason has not received it by email, the agent can resend the signing link, which will be sent to all those who have not yet signed. Alternatively, the agent can copy the signing link from the icon (two overlapping papers) next to the signatory's name and send the link via email, WhatsApp, or text message to the signatory.
