Publishing a listing is done from the Publish tab on the listing card.
Remember to add the listing photos before publishing. Before or shortly after publishing, it is also recommended to create a brochure and any marketing materials you need: an window poster, a social media image, or a direct marketing leaflet.
NOTE: If the brokerage uses the inspection feature, the listing must be inspected before it can be published.
Below is a list of things to keep in mind regarding publishing:

Contact information in the publication lets you choose whether the agent’s or the company’s contact details are shown in the publication.
(Note: The publication platforms may also have their own settings for contact details, so check the settings in Oikotie or Etuovi/Vuokraovi if needed.) - Before publishing, you may want to preview the listing in DIXU to ensure, for example, that the photos are in a logical order and that there are no typos in the listing details.
(Note: DIXU does not currently support publishing rental listings or commercial properties, so those cannot be previewed either.) - Use the Publish listing button to proceed with publishing. Once a listing has been published, it can be hidden from this same place.
- In the Select publication platforms section, you can activate or deactivate the platforms where the listing will be published.
- In the Publication contact details section, you can also choose whether the agent’s or the company’s details are shown in the publication.
- In the Scheduled publishing section, you can activate scheduled publishing and then choose the publishing time.
After publishing, the listing is updated immediately on your website and in DIXU. On external publication platforms, there may be a slight delay before the listing appears.
If a listing has been temporarily taken off the market and you want to publish it again later, the republishing (returning the listing to the For sale status) is done from the Publish tab in the same way as described above.
Good to know about publication platforms:
Oikotie:
- The logo used in Oikotie, which is also shown in publications, is managed in Oikotie’s company settings by the company’s main administrator.
Etuovi:
- The logo used in Etuovi, which is also shown in publications, is managed in Etuovi’s (OviPro) company settings by the company’s main administrator.
- If the company does not have an agreement with Etuovi regarding bidding listings, bidding publications will not appear as bidding listings. If needed, we recommend contacting Etuovi’s customer support or sales. (With Oikotie, no separate agreement for bidding listings is required.)
Vuokraovi:
- If a listing is published from Linear with the agent’s contact details but the agent’s information does not appear on Vuokraovi, the agent may not have their own Vuokraovi user account that matches the listing publisher. The agent must have their own Vuokraovi user account for their details to appear on the listings. If needed, we recommend contacting Vuokraovi’s customer support or sales.
