How to start using Typeform:

Create a Typeform account and choose a plan that suits your agency’s needs
- Note: The number of responses Typeform can receive depends on your selected plan. For example, the Basic plan includes up to 100 responses per month. Once this limit is exceeded, new responses will not be saved in Typeform, and therefore will not be saved in Linear either.
- Log in and go to ‘Your settings’
- Select ‘Personal tokens’, then choose ‘Generate a new token’ (= create a new key)
- Name the key in the ‘Token name’ field. For example, you can name it ‘Linear API key’.
- In the Scopes section, select ‘All scopes’, then click ‘Generate token’.
- Typeform will generate an API key for you, which will be added to Linear later. Copy the key and store it safely, as it will only be shown once. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new one.
- Go to Linear, open the ‘Company settings’ section, and navigate to ‘Messages and surveys’
- Add the key (token) you received from Typeform to the ‘Typeform API key’ field.
- The ‘Create surveys automatically’ option means that Linear will automatically create survey templates for you in Typeform.
- We recommend enabling this option, as it allows you to view survey responses directly in Linear.
- Automatically created survey templates can be edited later in Typeform if needed.
- After entering the required information, click ‘Enable Typeform’.
- To complete the process, click the ‘Confirm’ button.
Note: Please keep in mind that if the contact has the Do not send agency-specific automatic messages option enabled in the CRM, they will not receive messages containing links to feedback surveys.
