SendGrid is a third-party companion service that allows you to use your own domain for messages sent through Linear.
Enabling the SendGrid Integration
- Notify Linear’s customer support that you want to enable the service.
- Create a SendGrid account and choose a plan that fits your agency’s needs.
- Sign in and authenticate your agency’s domain in SendGrid by following the instructions below.
- Create an API key in SendGrid by following the instructions found here.
- Go to Linear’s “Company Settings” section and add the API key to its designated field in the SendGrid settings under the Integrations tab.
- Enter the no-reply email address into its designated field.
- Confirm the API key and email address by clicking the “Enable SendGrid” button.
- Finish the process by clicking the “Confirm” button.
NOTE! Even when using the free plan, we recommend adding your payment information. Otherwise, once you exceed the message limit, emails will no longer be delivered. For example, SendGrid’s free plan includes a limit of 100 emails per day, and during a busy day or at a larger agency, this limit can quickly be reached.
