As its name suggests, the Summary report provides a quick glance at a few key figures that are crucial for business operations. The Summary report is divided into three sections:
- Key Figures: At the top, horizontally displayed, are the key figures: revenue, sold listings, mandates, value of mandates, and the value of open mandates.
-
Revenue / Transactions / Mandates: From the vertical graph at the bottom left, you can track revenue, transactions, or mandates on a monthly basis. By clicking on a column, you can select a month, which updates the above key figures to only show the key figures for that month. You can also select multiple months by holding down the Ctrl key (on Mac, the Command key) while clicking on the months.
Tip: By selecting three months from the column chart, you can view a summary on a quarterly basis. - Revenue / Transactions / Mandates per brokerage and agent: The horizontal bar chart at the bottom right shows comparisons by office and agent based on the same parameters selected from the left menu (Revenue, Transactions, Mandates). From the arrows in the top right corner of the graph, users with Administrator and main user roles can drill down into the numbers by descending to a lower level in the hierarchy.
All three sections thus communicate with each other. In other words, when you make selections on the bottom left side (e.g., type of commission or invoice status) or choose different periods (e.g., month or quarter), or if you drill down to a lower level on the bottom right, the key figures in the top section also change to reflect the selections and adjustments made.
The percentages below the key figures indicate the change from the previous period of the same length, which is selected in the graph on the bottom left. For example, in the screenshot above, March is selected (by clicking on the column) so the key figure comparisons are made to February. The image shows that, for instance, revenue has significantly increased in March compared to February, while the number of sold listings has remained the same. If, for example, three columns were selected, the percentage comparison would be made to the preceding three months, allowing for a comparison on a quarterly basis as well.
When you hover your mouse over a column (e.g., March revenue), you see the exact amount to two decimal places.
