Linear has a direct integration with the Central Federation of Finnish Real Estate Agencies (KVKL) price monitoring service. This integration is usually activated by Linear when a brokerage starts using Linear, but the brokerage's management can also activate or deactivate it themselves from the company settings Integrations tab.
In order for the transaction details to be updated in the price monitoring service, the following conditions must be met:
- The brokerage must have the integration active.
- The listing must be a sales listing (rental listings are not reported to KVKL).
- The listing's transaction summary must have the Completed transaction date filled in. Please note that if the listing has undergone a DIAS transaction, the actual transaction date will automatically update on the transaction summary after the transactions.
The transaction is updated in the price monitoring service only when all the above conditions are met. Information on completed transactions is sent from Linear to KVKL once a day, the day after the transaction is made.
NOTE: If the client(s) has requested that the details of the completed transaction not be displayed in the price monitoring service, we recommend contacting KVKL after the transactions.
Sending information on old completed transactions to KVKL retrospectively
If a company activates the KVKL integration for the first time later on, meaning the company's listing information has not been previously sent from Linear to KVKL, you can send information retrospectively as follows:
- Activate the KVKL checkbox from Company settings.
- Go to company settings and turn on the KVKL checkbox from the Integrations tab.
- Review the transaction summaries of previously sold listings.
- After activating the setting, a non-active checkbox "Transaction details to be sent to the price monitoring service" will appear on the transaction summaries of previously sold listings.
- Activate the checkbox for the listings you want to send to KVKL.
- Take note of the transaction date limitation:
- Listing information is sent to KVKL only if the transaction summary's actual transaction date is no more than 14 months old.
After these steps, the information on the selected listings will be transferred to KVKL. The information is transferred the morning after activation.
