Currently, Linear does not have separate support for clients under guardianship.
If your listing involves a client under guardianship, we suggest executing the assignment using one of the following options:
- Instead of electronic signatures, agreements (e.g., commission or offer) are signed manually by the guardian.
- The guardian is added to the customer registry, and agreements are sent electronically for signature through the listing's Manage documents section to the guardian. You can find more detailed information on this topic from this article.
- In the assignment, both the guardian and the person under guardianship are marked as clients, but the guardian is designated as Authorized Seller or Main Landlord. In this case, signature invitations are sent only to the guardian.
In the example image below, Niina would act as Albert's guardian:
For a sales assignment, you can mark the ownership shares as 0% (guardian) and 100% (person under guardianship), but be careful with the sales contract and transfer tax, and if necessary, make the required adjustments manually.
NOTE: Regardless of which option you use, we recommend archiving essential documents (e.g., guardianship decision or guardian's certificate) in the listing's archive as well.
