If a housing company share sale is processed in DIAS and the estate of a deceased person has a court‑appointed estate administrator, the administrator must be added as a participant of the estate in the customer registry and marked as the signer. In this case, the shareholders of the estate must not have signer status — only the estate administrator:
On the DIAS form, the seller parties will automatically be generated as the Estate of the Deceased and the estate administrator:
The seller is listed as the Estate of the Deceased, the signer as the estate administrator, and there is also a field indicating that the signer is acting solely as an authorised signatory.
The decree of appointment must be added to the attachments of the estate inventory deed.
