Check whether the listing information can be found in:
- the articles of association (share numbers)
- the Apartment Ownership Register (share group ID)
If the information is incomplete in these respects, the housing company’s board and the property manager must submit a correction request to the National Land Survey of Finland and request that the matter be processed urgently.
Linear’s purchase offer form requires a share number in the listing details in order to create an offer in the system. Alternative ways to make an offer are:
- Conduct the negotiations by email and draw up the offer using your own offer form outside Linear.
- You can use Linear’s purchase offer form by entering, for example, “0” as the share number and adding a note in the attachments description stating that the share certificate is in paper form. In addition, enter an explanation of the situation in the offer’s Other Terms and Additional Information field.
Because the buyer does not pay transfer tax on the purchase of a new-issue property, the agent is not required to file a transfer tax return.
