Sales and rental assignments can be copied to create a new sales or rental assignment. Copying can also be done crosswise, from a sales assignment to a rental assignment and vice versa.
NOTE: Within the group, the property agent can also copy a property from one environment (company) to another. In such cases, however, it is important to ensure that the environment selected (top right corner) is the one to which the property is intended to be copied. Copying a property to a new environment also requires that you have the right to create properties in the environment to which the property is being copied. If the option to copy a property appears grayed out, you do not have the rights to create new properties in the active environment.
Copy a property as follows:
1. Open the property card of the property you wish to copy
2. Click either from the top section under the Actions button or from the bottom Copy property.
3. In the menu that opens, enter the correct address details for the copied property and choose whether you are making a sales or rental property. You can choose whether to copy the assignment agreement details or not.
After copying, you can work on the copied property as usual, i.e., edit the terms of the assignment agreement and the property details for the description annex (sales property) or the housing information form (rental property).
Documents from the old property are not copied to the new property, but you can, if necessary, download documents from the old property's archive to your computer and upload them to your newly copied property.
NOTE: Always make sure that the new copied property has all the correct information before sending documents for signing!
When copying, the formatting of the sales/rental brochure (order of data fields, changed names of data fields, etc., if any were made) is also copied, so also carefully check the brochure before distributing it.
